Job Description:

We are seeking an Intermediate I Operations Support Specialist to join our team and provide essential analytical and administrative support to optimize operations within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist as an Operations Specialist, performing a wide variety of analytical and administrative duties in support of the organization.
• Manage staffing processes and track internal and external suspenses and correspondence with designated functional areas.
• Apply knowledge in planning, risk management, and program analysis to enhance operational efficiency.
• Track and ensure timely responses to all tasks received across the organization.
• Receive direction and technical guidance necessary to accomplish mission objectives.
• Assist in defining and documenting processes into standard operating procedures or other written guidelines.
• Ensure integrated and coordinated short-term, mid-term, and long-range planning for various projects and tasks.
• Initiate, develop, revise, recommend, and ensure implementation of policies, plans, procedures, and directives under guidance from senior staff.
• Identify existing or potential problem areas within operations and recommend corrective actions as needed.
• Advise and assist higher-level staff regarding assigned programs, briefing preparation, and objectives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide advice and support to organizational leadership, staff, and program managers on assigned programs/projects, stakeholder engagements, briefings, and reports.
• Assist in accomplishing detailed planning for complex management projects, issues, and initiatives.
• Provide support for risk analysis and track costs, schedules, and performance metrics for various projects and programs.

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills focused on operations support.
• Proficiency in Office 365 and SharePoint applications.
• Understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Ability to develop and implement policies and standard operating procedures.
• Excellent communication skills for advising and supporting leadership and staff.
• Experience managing multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma; a minimum of 3 years of related operations support experience.
• Required certifications in Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Must possess a valid Secret security clearance.
