Operations Technology System Engineer at AKKODIS

Akkodis is seeking an Operations Technology System Engineer for a Contract job with a client in Bridgeport, WV. The ideal candidate is responsible for maintaining cybersecurity controls, supporting regulatory requirements, and managing network assets.

 

Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Operations Technology System Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Implement and maintain the Top 20 CIS Critical Security Controls and support cybersecurity regulatory requirements.

• Continuously monitor and troubleshoot systems, ensuring proactive security measures are in place to address potential issues.

• Analyze, design, test, document, and implement application changes, ensuring they meet organizational and security needs.

• Create, modify, and troubleshoot group policies, user accounts, and directory services within a Windows Active Directory Domain.

• Engineer and install IT solutions across a distributed network environment, supporting both hardware and software solutions.

• Lead or support cybersecurity projects, and manage budgets, specifications, schedules, and deliverables.

• Offer expert technical advice in managing applications and infrastructure, ensuring secure and efficient operations across various technologies.

 

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in system engineering, cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

• Proven experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems (Windows 10, Server 16 and newer) and Active Directory management.

• Strong experience in VMware vSphere support (EXi 6.0 or newer) and multifactor authentication solution deployment.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $57.00 per hour
