Our nine divisions are engaged in the distribution of Bobcat®, Komatsu®, Hyster® & Yale® construction or material handling equipment.

In this pivotal role, you'll empower employees by developing and delivering comprehensive training programs that enhance operational efficiency and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify training needs, create engaging instructional materials, and facilitate hands-on learning experiences. Monday - Friday
$60-80k depending on experience (base salary plus bonus)
Responsibilities
-
Engage in one-on-one, hands-on, or group training to help teams maintain or improve knowledge and performance of operational policies and procedures as well as technology systems.

Prepare and guide employees to perform their assigned tasks.

Collaborate with divisional leadership, department managers, and Berry Companies staff to identify training needs and gaps.

Present information, using a variety of instructional techniques and formats.

Listen to employees’ concerns about company procedures and policies.

Make recommendations to Berry Companies’ management on policy and procedure changes.

Research new training techniques and suggest enhancements to existing training programs. Organize, plan, and prioritize work – develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work.

Follow set procedures and routines and communicate the importance of established methods to others.

Other duties or projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Demonstrate a strong sense of curiosity and a proactive approach to learning.

Ability to manage multiple training programs and projects simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and time management.

Refer employee problems outside the realm of operations training.

Ensure that all company policy and procedure manuals are current and presented in a user-friendly format.

Streamline policies and procedures.
-
Ensure that all personnel are familiar with policy and procedure developments in advance of their implementation.

Conflict resolution skills helpful.

Ability to have fun in any working environment.

Ability to travel extensively - 30%

BA/BS Degree. Management experience with P&L responsibility and/or teaching/training experience.

Excellent communication, both written and oral.

Must enjoy dealing with customers and employees/co-workers.

Sales experience preferred, but not necessary although must enjoy the concept of sales.

Excellent computer knowledge and skills – business and operating systems.
