EssentialDuties/Responsibilities (may include, but are not limited to):
- While working to achieve N3B LLCC objectives, will ensure all activities and operations are performed in a safe and deliberate manner; will maintain required safety, security and operational training; assure procedural and regulatory compliance; and make safety, security and quality an integral part of every task; including taking the necessary steps to stop work if continuing the job is unsafe or compromises security.
- Provides comprehensive planning, project management, system development, and technical writing services.
- Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments.
- Evaluates and oversees contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs.
- Oversees initiatives that improve the project’s efficiency and sustainable infrastructure.
- Leads the coordination and implementation of program initiatives.
- Represents the project in low- and mid-level meetings, providing communication and responsiveness to training related issues and activities.
- Develops and implements continuous improvement processes for the Training Division.
- Oversees the program planning and modification process to ensure recommended changes are made with consideration for program performance metrics, required resources, alignment with industry need, and meeting compliance criteria.
- Leads the planning and implementation of new and expanding training programs.
- Leads the development and implementation of complex program initiatives.
- Provides training coordination on institutional and programmatic accreditation activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge and ability to develop and apply highly advanced principles, concepts and techniques of training management in specified areas of engineering, science or related disciplines.
- Skill and ability to perform critical strategic tasks and to interpret broad strategic requirements and develop and execute plans to satisfy them.
- Ability to have major impact on organizational success and productivity, with extensive latitude for independent judgment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at the highest levels.
- Ability to oversee operational activities for programs and projects in the organization.
- Ability to train and mentor more junior staff.
- Viewed as an expert within a specialty and as highly competent within the broad discipline, both internally and externally.
- Level of language skills, mathematical skills, communication skills, reasoning ability and computer skills necessary to perform essential functions of the job.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors' degree in appropriate discipline; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
The career level of the position will be determined by the years of relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities; after a candidate has been chosen.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements (Light Work):
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
