About the Job
Assume all responsibilities for properly receiving materials into WIP & Inventory, updating WIP/Inventory software entries accurately, disbursing material to appropriate process step, preparing finished goods for shipping, and conducting the shipping process. This first shift position requires speed, patience, and strong attention to detail. In addition, meticulous with product labeling and packaging requirements, as well as executes a high level of thoroughness, accuracy and timeliness with WIP/Inventory & Shipping transactions. Ability to work independently and utilize effective time management to meet customer delivery deadlines, as well as communicate at a high level to Customer Service Representatives, Manufacturing Planners, Production Managers and Manufacturing technicians. Responsible for maintaining our company standard for product quality and customer service by ensuring each order is received by the customer, as entirely requested.
Education & Experience
- 4-6 years manufacturing experience and/or advanced education or equivalent plus 3-5 years of .... experience.
- Microsoft Excel experience is a must.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and process procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement
- Experience with networked PC based computer system.
