Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operator II to join our manufacturing team on the 2nd shift
As an Operator II, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality cardiovascular medical devices within a manufacturing cell
This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble medical devices and components, following documented procedures
- Operate various equipment and machinery, including electronic assembly, casting/coating, mechanical assembly, and packaging
- Clean tools and equipment, and dispose of hazardous waste materials
- Perform visual inspections and precision measurements on components and assemblies
- Conduct tests using computerized test equipment
- Repair and correct devices/components using microscopes and applicable tools
- Package devices ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Follow safety guidelines and utilize safety devices/equipment
- Participate in continuous improvement/quality initiatives
- Communicate with supervisors/leads on supply needs and production difficulties
- Collaborate on setting and monitoring individual/cell performance metrics
- Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, comprehend, and follow English written procedures (6th-grade level)
- Basic math skills (6th-grade level)
- Effective communication and verbal instruction skills in English
- Familiarity with electronic data collection systems and computer software packages
- Good dexterity for handling small components
- Ability to prioritize work, make critical decisions, and work with minimal supervision
- Controlled cleanroom environment (depending on work area)
- Use of microscopes, hand tools, razor blades, syringes, soldering equipment, and adhesive bonding
- Exposure to hazardous materials (with proper safety precautions
