This is a full-time, hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The role of Operator II will be responsible for the following duties:
+ Assist with operating machinery as needed for production and bagging demands
+ Conduct ongoing cleaning/housekeeping tasks
+ Operate forklifts and other equipment on property
+ Stack bags efficiently and safely
+ Pick orders, load and unload product
+ Assess inventory to ensure proper delivery to customers
+ Other responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS:
To be considered for an opportunity, candidates must meet the following criteria:
+ Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero injury culture and understand/follow company safety procedures
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Forklift experience
+ Exhibit consistent, prompt attendance
+ Able to meet physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lift up to 55 lbs. unassisted, shovel material and operate a vacuum
+ Possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
+ Possess strong math aptitude and be familiar with basic computer skills
+ Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times.
SCHEDULE:
This is an hourly position. Shift is nights, primarily 10-6, with some overtime required as needed. Demonstrate initiative to work independently on given assignments while remaining flexible enough to work within team setting.
EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENT :
All other PPE will be provided by the plant.
ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.
