Position Overview:
As an Operator, youre a member of an assigned production crew, reporting to a General Supervisor. You will contribute to the success of Ball by observing operating principles of all assigned equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for your area of responsibility.
The Ball Kapolei plant is high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 12 -hour shifts (6:45am-7pm/6:45pm-7am) working 4 days on/3 days off and rotating from day to night shift every 2 weeks.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:
+ Follow 5S standards and safety procedures related to food, waste management, and emergencies within the work area and plant.
+ Operate a palletizer or other production equipment to meet plant production goals.
+ Inspect aluminium for proper quality standards and customer specifications.
+ Build positive relationships across designated team by effectively collaborating, communicating, and upholding ethical integrity.
Required Experience and Skills:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent education.
+ Demonstrated ability to adjust workload as needed to meet daily work goals.
+ Demonstrated drive to resolve complex issues independently and accomplish daily goals.
Preferred Experience and Skills:
+ Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools and an interest in mechanics.
+ 2 years' work experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Physical Environment & Working Conditions:
+ May be subject to the following, but not limited to:
+ Hot/Cold working conditions.
+ Loud /Noisy environment.
+ Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
+ Climbing (stairs, catwalks, and other equipment as necessary).

Compensation & Benefits
- Hiring Salary Range: $23.29/hr
- This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
