Ophthalmic Assistant-Ancillary Testing - Vancouver Clinic

In this role you will prepare patients and instruments for exam (to include rooming, vitals, charting), screen patients, perform measurement tasks, assist with procedures, perform telephone triage and instructions, and monitor provider schedules. Schedule, 20 hours/week: Tuesday (8:00a-5:00p), Thursday (8:00a-12:00p), Friday (8:00a-5:00p) - will transition to schedule after successful completion of full-time training and will need flexibility to work at Salmon Creek and Camas locations . Pay range starts at $20.16 and goes up based on evaluation of experience.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current WA State MA-Registered credential or ability to obtain within three months of hire date.
• Experience and ability to properly operate diagnostic ophthalmic/optometric equipment preferred.
• Healthcare, direct patient care experience strongly preferred.
• Ophthalmic experience preferred.
• EHR experience.Epic experience preferred.

Pay Range:
$20.16 - $28.21
