- POSITION SUMMARY
- The OA is responsible for providing professional care within his/her scope of practice for patients assessing, education, scheduling exam, and maintaining accurate patient records. No experience required. On the job training provided.
- MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses and Certifications Required
- Must begin home study course in first year to work towards JCAHPO COA level certification
- JCAHPO COA level certification preferred during 2nd year
- Obtain CPR Certification within 90 days of hire (training provided by Trinity for certification)
- Educational Requirements
- Experience Requirements
- No experience required. On the job training provided
- Previous experience using computerized system for data reporting, information storage and retrieval required
- Excellent communication skills required
- Detail oriented
- Special Skills or Training Requirements
- The ability to maintain active patient/doctor communication during working shifts, up to eight hours per day
- The ability to access, input, and retrieve information from the computer system
