Job Description: | The Clanton lab at the University of Florida, U.S.A. is seeking a motivated OPS scientist to pursue research related to epigenetic changes associated with heat acclimation. This research combines standard molecular biology, genetic, and biochemical approaches to investigate heat acclimation.

Expected Salary: | $16 per hour |
Minimum Requirements: | High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant office experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute an equivalent rate for the required experience. |
Preferred Qualifications: | Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a closely related field and one year of relevant experience; or a Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Biology or a closely related field. Some experience in a laboratory setting. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint. |
