With each patient interaction, you're not just collecting data you're painting a holistic picture of each patient's vision health journey, empowering our team to deliver personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Guide patients through special testing procedures, such as visual fields and ophthalmic imaging, ensuring their comfort and confidence every step of the way. Whether it's assisting healthcare providers during complex procedures or evaluating contact lenses, your expertise transforms vision care into a seamless, patient-centered experience. Act as a crucial liaison between patients and staff, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care for medical eye conditions like glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetes. From assessing the need for third-party referrals to facilitating in-house coordination, you are a vital team member ensuring our patients receive comprehensive, coordinated care at every turn. Minimum Qualifications:
- License to practice Optometry in New York State
- Must be comfortable dealing with pediatric and adult patients
- Experience with Binocular work ups for Pediatric Patients
- Experience with Electronical Medical Records
- The ability to speak Yiddish is a plus and highly recommended.
