About The Position
**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN) **Job Specialty:** Operating Room (OR) **Job Duration:** 13 weeks **Shift:** 07:00 AM - 05:30 PM, Monday - Friday **Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours weekly **Experience:** Minimum of 2 years **License:** RN **Certifications:** BLS, ACLS, PALS (Must be from the American Heart Association) **Must-Have:** Proficiency in Neuro, Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, OBGYN **Job Description:** - Provide nursing care in state-of-the-art operating suites. - Support patients and surgeons with significant traumatic injuries. - Anticipate needs for instruments, supplies, and equipment. - Perform a range of procedures from basic laparoscopy to complex abdominal and chest trauma cases. - Ensure patient safety and maintain high competency and confidence levels. - Collaborate with a diverse patient population across all ages. - Work in a facility with various specialties including Urology, Neuro, General, GYN, Podiatry, Plastic, Ortho, Dental, and ENT. - Utilize Cerner electronic health records in a 10 OR unit.
