OR Specialty Lead (SFA) Position Summary
- The OR Specialty Lead is a Surgical Technician-First Assist that will work within the Surgical Services Department to support assigned surgical specialties by collaborating with OR(Operating Room) leadership, Charge, Surgeons, and vendors to maintain and create surgical preference cards, facilitate training and in-service, review and supporting the department in coordinating the OR schedule, considering equipment, supply, and implant needs
OR Specialty Lead (SFA) Position Requirements
- Ability to read and communicate in the English language.
- Minimum of one (1) year working in the specialty/specialties in the OR.
- Graduate of a Certified Surgical Tech Program or Operating Room Technician with documented on-the-job experience.
- Certified as a surgical technician is preferred.
- Surgical Tech First Assist certification is required
- Refer to the policy: Mandatory Education Classes/Hours for all Patient Care area positions.
OR Specialty Lead (SFA) Schedule
- Full Time 80 hours per pay period
OR Specialty Lead (SFA) Benefits
- At TidalHealth, team members working at least 36 hours per pay period based on 12-hour shift schedules or at least 37.5 hours for non 12-hour shift schedules and part-time team members working at least 30 hours or more on weekends only are eligible for benefits.
