LRS Consulting Services is seeking an Oracle Back-End Developer for a hybrid onsite contract with our client in the Rosemont, IL area!
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex PL/SQL code to support back-end database functionalities and application requirements.
- Collaborate with application and front-end teams to integrate PL/SQL code seamlessly with front-end components.
- Design, develop, and enhance applications in Oracle APEX, working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure alignment with requirements.
- Perform code reviews and optimize database performance, addressing any identified bottlenecks.
- Provide documentation and technical support for database solutions, ensuring compliance with best practices and standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues promptly to maintain high system performance and availability.
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
- 5 years of hands-on experience with PL/SQL development in an Oracle environment.
- Experience with Oracle APEX or relatable "low code" platforms (e.g., Salesforce, MS PowerApps, ServiceNow, Mendix, etc.) for rapid application development.
- Experience with IDE platforms for PL/SQL Development such as Toad or Sublime.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and query optimization.
- Familiarity and basic proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
