JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated and driven Oracle Database Administrator to work 1-2 Days Per Week Onsite supporting enterprise IT for our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and administer Oracle database software in a classified environment
- Create/troubleshoot/manage databases, schemas, and user accounts/roles/permissions
- Maintain database software in accordance with all applicable security requirements, i.e. DoD STIGs
- Manage storage structures of the database
- Manage schema objects such as tables, indexes, and views
- Configure database backups in accordance with customer requirements
- Perform database recoveries as required
- Perform daily checks of databases, backups, exports, jobs, and storage, taking preventive or corrective actions, as required
- Monitoring and tuning database performance
REQUIREMENTS
- 3 years of database administration experience working with Oracle 19c running on RHEL/UNIX
- Proficiency managing Oracle from command line/SQL Developer
- Knowledge of queries, DDL, DML, and DCL commands
- Comprehensive understanding of Oracle architecture
- Physical and logical structures, memory structures, and process architecture
- Experience with Recovery Manager (RMAN), Data Pump, and Automatic Workload Repository (AWR
- Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and TOAD, a plus
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)
- CompTIA Security+
SECURITY CLEARANCE
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance
EDUCATION
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or an Information Technology or AA/AS Degree and 7 years of related experience, or High School Diploma with 9 years of related experience

COMPENSATION
