- Oracle 12.x & 18.x OLTP/Warehouse databases
- Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 13 SQL Navigator SQL Developer PL/SQL ERWin Business Objects Informatica PowerCenter
- Provides advanced level technical expertise and support within the Technical Services Section for DWD's Oracle database environment.
- Responsibilities include database security administration, research, implementation, maintenance, tuning and troubleshooting of database architectures and data management software for various platforms.
- Work with application development staff on logical database design.
- Designing and implementing physical databases including multi-agency OLTP and data warehouse. Collaborating on the design and installation of maintenance and upgrades to database software. Monitoring performance and making tuning recommendations.
- Estimating database growth for capacity planning and, problem determination and resolution.
