Job Title : Oracle ERP Functional Consultant (Finance)

• Finance Module Management: Handle end-to-end processes for all key Finance modules in Oracle ERP, including Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management (CE), SLA, and Procurement (PO). Optionally extend to Inventory (INV) and Order Management (OM) modules.
• Interface Data Management:
  • Oversee AR interface data integration from third-party systems (e.g., Infor), ensuring data balances between the two systems.
  • Manage AP interface data from third-party systems (e.g., Data Cap (OCR), BPM, Infor 10.7), ensuring data integrity and balance.
  • Monitor interface jobs across third-party systems and resolve any errors, ensuring smooth operations before monthly book closures.
• System Optimization and Support: Work closely with the Technical team to recommend and implement code changes and bug fixes for process optimization. Provide guidance on mass additions for fixed assets and other integration-related issues.
• User Support and Training: Provide user support for the More4Apps application, including upgrades, license transfers, and issue resolution. Train new users and provide guidance on system functionalities.
• Process Improvement: Lead process redesign and identify opportunities for process improvements in P2P (Procure-to-Pay) and O2C (Order-to-Cash) cycles.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Handle end-to-end testing of finance modules as needed to ensure functionality and system accuracy.
• Month-End and Year-End Closing: Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure the financial books are reconciled and compliant.
• Tax Compliance: Independently manage 1099 patches and the end-to-end e-filing process with the IRS.
• Banking Integration: Lead bank integration projects, including PGP key upgrades and resolve any payment process issues related to Treasury.
• Data and System Maintenance: Use SQL Developer to clear AR and AP interface issues. Conduct system sanity checks and disaster recovery (DR) activities on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Functional Documentation: Prepare MD-50 functional specifications for new processes, providing input to the technical team from a functional perspective.
• Audit and Compliance: Provide audit sampling data as required for SOX compliance and assist the audit team in monthly, quarterly, and yearly audits.
• Change Management: Participate in Change Management meetings to present change requests for finance-related processes, ensuring business approval and successful implementation.

• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years experience in managing Oracle ERP finance modules (AR, AP, GL, FA, CE, SLA, PO).
• System Interface Management: Strong experience with AR/AP interface management and resolving data integration issues from third-party systems (e.g., Infor, Data Cap, BPM).
• SQL: Proficiency in SQL Developer to manage and resolve interface issues.
• Problem-Solving: Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills to resolve system errors and balance data.
• Process Optimization: Ability to suggest and implement process improvements and system optimizations in the finance area.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels and collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
• Finance and Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of Finance processes (P2P, O2C) and relevant tax and compliance requirements.

• Oracle Functional Knowledge: Experience in Oracle Finance modules beyond AR, AP, and GL (e.g., INV, OM, SLA).
• More4Apps: Hands-on experience with the More4Apps suite and managing upgrades and user issues.
• SOX Compliance: Familiarity with SOX compliance and audit sampling procedures.
• Bank Integration Projects: Experience with bank integration processes and managing PGP key upgrades for secure financial transactions.
• 1099 Filing: Experience with managing 1099 patches and the IRS e-filing process.

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
