Teamcenter L3 Operations Support Skills Needed
- English language. Additional languages are a plus as we support a global base of users.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively and efficiently with users and team members at all technical levels.
- Experience providing customer support in a global environment (follow the sun helpdesk).
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to produce both technical and end user focused documentation.
- In depth knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management concepts with specific knowledge of the Teamcenter Unified platform general knowledge of Solid Edge and Solid Works CAD packages being used by end designers.
- Knowledge of general software optimization.
- Knowledge of application performance, including standard behavior performance characteristic, architecture effects, and trade-offs involved in reliability and performance.
- Knowledge of Oracle database optimization, including optimizing setup for specific application benefits, query performance tuning, and distributed database optimization across a Wide Area Network. Knowledge of network optimization techniques, including Wide Area Network optimization issues and trade-offs.
- Knowledge of ITIL Service Management framework. Foundation certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating environments.
- Knowledge of cloud operating environments. Amazon Web Services (AWS) specifically. Key Service Operations Activities (i.e., event, incident & problem management)
- Maintain applications and services (everything above OS).
- Maintain availability and reliability of Teamcenter services.
- Provide advanced incident support for complex issues that the Helpdesk is unable to resolve.
- Provide software support at the level of code evaluation and repair.
- Provide root cause analysis on problems.
- Proactively monitor application logs and prevent user reported outages.
- Generate documentation for standardizing and improving work processes efficiencies.
- Recording, tracking and maintaining reported incidents and problems. Specialized Skills Required
- Teamcenter Unified (TC10 or higher)
- Teamcenter AWC Active Workspace
- Teamcenter CAD integration (SEEC, SWIM, TcAA, NX)
- Oracle DBA
- Performance Monitoring, Analysis, and Tuning
- Strong knowledge and experience in Oracle network concepts
- Experience doing Oracle DBA support for enterprise applications with 1,000's of users
- Experience with web based applications that utilize Oracle as a database
- SQL-PLUS and PL-SQL programming and development knowledge
- Scripting experience (linux and windows shell scripting)
- Oracle Certified Professional preferred
