Responsibilities:As a member of the ERP team, you will get to drive exciting new features in our ERP space by using your skills in technical design, development, maintenance, testing, and support. You will provide leadership and support in architecting both on premise and Cloud solutions. We’re looking for someone that can establish relationships with the technical and business application team to design, develop and implement integrations between internal systems and business partners.
This role will also provide support for multiple project objectives, requirements, and deliverables as part of a collaborative team.
In addition, this individual will be expected to assist and contribute in the development and implementation of standards, best practices, policies and procedures for BISSELL's Information Technology Department, with a focus on application development, testing and maintenance.
- Work closely with other members of the BISSELL business application development team to design, develop and implement the integration between the Company's many business application systems.
- Determine needs, recommend, develop, and maintain standards, policies and procedures for the development and support of BISSELL's Oracle Cloud and on premises systems.
- Provide necessary input during the various phases of new and existing projects (Blueprinting, Design, Testing, Deploy, etc.). Build on past experiences and working knowledge to review current systems and processes with associates from the business
- Recommend and implement measurements to monitor, tune and improve BISSELL's ERP, Oracle and Edge applications.
- Work closely with associates in multiple business areas, to analyze business requirements and design functionality to deliver value.
- Determine valid user requirements, design, code, test, implement and support business application systems for all assigned projects.
- Provide technical assistance, training and support for other team members or business users as appropriate.
- Write detailed descriptions of business needs, program specifications and functions, and steps required to develop or modify applications. Provide estimates and plans for accomplished tasks.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
DESIGNED TO SUCCEED:
- Degree minimum: Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
- Experience level: 2+ years in business application systems development and support; 2+ years in design, development, and support of one or more ERP Systems
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Knowledge and/or prior experience with Oracle Cloud or on-Premise ERP applications, data bases and data exchange tools
- Knowledge of DevOps and Cl/CD concepts
- Oracle PL/SQL
- Oracle E-Business Suite
- Integration tools
- Knowledge of methodology, systems development life procedures and practices in all facets of the cycle, including:
- Systems Design
- Systems Implementation
- Software Selection and Implementation
- Production Systems Support
- Development of ERP based applications.
- Design and development of client/server applications.
- Design and development of business application systems
- Experience with Cloud based systems
