Lead Oral Surgery Assistant (3+ Years Experience Required) - $23 - $27

We are looking for a Lead Oral Surgery Assistant to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate Must have at least 3 years of oral surgery experience and be a natural leader. We value a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Must possess a phlebotomy certification with certification in IV insertion and management techniques
• Assist Doctor in all surgical procedures
• Manage the schedule, supplies and orders
• Oversee infection control protocols – sterilizing instruments and preparing equipment
• Provide post-procedure care instructions to patients
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene to maintain their oral health
• Perform additional office tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of oral surgery assisting experience
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
• Understanding of ethical and legal dental care standards
• Radiology certification (X-ray)
• Knowledge of Dentrix (preferred but not required)
• Leadership and team collaboration skills
• Travel reimbursement available when applicable
