Salary/Hourly Rate:
$19/hr
Position Overview:
As an Order Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately entering customer orders into our system, ensuring all information is correct and up to date. This Order Entry Clerk role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our order processing operations.
Responsibilities of the Order Entry Clerk:
- Accurately enter customer orders into the company’s order processing system
- Verify order information for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with customers to clarify order details as needed
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely processing and delivery of orders
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to orders
- Maintain organized records of orders and customer interactions
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
Qualifications for the Order Entry Clerk:
- Previous experience in order entry, data entry, or a related administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED is required
- Associates degree is preferred
