The Order Entry Specialist must be highly motivated to accomplish their objectives by accurately and efficiently entering Orders, Invoices, and/or Billing into the system.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Not applicable
Duties/Responsibilities:
Must have data entry experience in logistics - Intermodal and Dry van
Receive and input multiple orders
Tracking of vessels and freight
LFD checks
Driver Pay Roll
Act as back up to Transportation Customer Service Rep
Audit orders
Enter and update loads
Update and create spreadsheets
Enter data in computer system and maintain logs, activities and other information
Coordinate activities with respect to final deadlines
Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
Any other duties assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Proven experience in data entry
A strong knowledge of Google Sheets and Excel
Excellent typing skills
Office administration experience preferred
Active listener with excellent communication skills
Ability to work with little supervision
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
Minimum 2-5 years experience a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Employee is required to sit approximately 50%, stand 25%, and walk 25% of work time.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
