Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support Sales/operations capacity planning for Turbo compressor modernization projects.
- Confirmation of delivery lead time for firm proposals.
- Continuous monitoring of the production process for all assigned projects in backlog
- Continuous monitoring the availability of materials, depending on this, modifying the schedules as necessary.
- Informing the assigned Project Managers of date changes including landmarks impacting customer visits, invoicing, etc.
- Preparation of production plans (production scheduling) and monitoring of production status, as well as continuous consultation all corresponding departments within the operation (Engineering, Project Management, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain)
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Advanced technical qualification -BS degree or minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Confident knowledge of office computer programs (MS Office).
- Proactive, independent personality
- Excellent communication, organizational problem solving skills required.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office package such as Word and Excel.
Desired Skills:
- Experience in power generation industry
- Technical and quality knowledge
- Knowledge of SAP
Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Mostly Office Environments, Occasional Shop Floor involvement.
- Substantial amounts of telephone and computer work.
- Heavily Regulated Industries with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8 hour days plus lunch / 40 hour weeks / core (required) hours are 9AM to 4PM
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
