About the Job
Immediately hiring an Order Picker in the Royersford, PA area for a FULL TIME position. We are seeking a dedicated and physically capable Order Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling and moving boxes, tracking orders using a proprietary computer system, and operating various material handling equipment. This role requires significant physical effort, including lifting, carrying, and maneuvering boxes weighing up to 100 lbs. This is a full time position so need to be able to commit to working 40hrs a week and looking for a long term opportunity with the company.
Responsibilities
+ Stand, kneel, squat, stoop, and bend for extended periods of time.
+ Grip, lift, push, pull, and carry boxes including up and down inclines, stairs, and over changes in walking surface/elevation without assistance.
+ Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
+ Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes.
+ Operate hand-held scanner.
+ Maintain balance on ladders.
+ Load, operate, and move hand carts, pallet jacks, and various other material handling aids.
+ Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts.
+ Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids.
Essential Skills
+ Order picking and cherry picking.
+ Material handling.
+ Shipping and receiving.
+ Operating a cherry picker.
+ Lifting up to 35 lbs.
+ Reading and writing in English.
+ Forklift operation.
+ Using RF scanners.
