I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Texas Health and Human Services Commission requires the services of 1 Change Management Manager/Organizational Change Management (OCM) 2, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Change Management Manager/Organizational Change Management (OCM) 2, Information Technology Services Management (ITSM Operations) and the specifications outlined in this document for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
The Organizational Change Manager will use change management principles and practices to lead and manage the change management activities and integrate change and user adoption initiatives for a large-scale department transition and transformation project. Under the direction of the Texas Health and Human Services Commission’s (HHSC) Information Technology (IT) Project Management Office (PMO), this position will provide direct support to the project manager and project team overseeing the successful delivery of the project. This role is essential for ensuring a smooth transition and adoption of new processes, systems, and structures within the IT department. Activities may include assessing potential change impacts, developing change management plans, identifying, and analyzing key stakeholders, tailoring communication to agency stakeholders, training, risk management, and collaboration with other teams to ensure coordination, and feedback collection.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
