About the Job
The Organizational Improvement Generalist for Arrow Child & Family Ministries’ primary responsibilities are to support programs, support departments, and leaders to ensure organizational standardization, practices, and systems are upheld in alignment with Arrow’s culture values, goals, and outcomes. The Organizational Improvement Generalist will have a strong aptitude to prioritize tasks and projects, considering various program and agency wide resources. The ability to interpret a wide range of technical instructions and handle both abstract and concrete variables effectively is essential. This position will perform all job duties in a way that demonstrates and emphasizes kind and respectful behavior, purposeful connection, and integrity in a service-oriented manner.

- Develop a strong understanding of program performance outcomes and organizational goals, as well as all Arrow operations, practices, policies, & resources to ensure organizational consistency and standardization.
- Facilitate data collection via agency client information systems, stakeholder surveys, case record reviews, and other methods identified by the organization.
- Read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and general business periodicals.
- Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Independently work on and continue to enhance technical skills by incorporating client information systems and various software platforms.
- Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Provide Arrow policies, resources, and forms for dissemination to leadership, board, licensing, and accreditors.
- Support agency staff in use of client information systems (Archer); specifically identifying advocating and facilitating revisions and communicating changes in collaboration with operations and IT teams.
- Develop resources, training, and support to reinforce agency outcomes and goals.
- Monitor regulatory requirements for accreditations and disseminate changes, as needed.
- Support case record review and compliance process in collaboration with operations.
- Support agency staff by developing training, monitoring compliance, and conducting discovery for organizational changes, including forms, policies, and practices.
- Manage Organizational Improvement helpdesk and other related helpdesks as needed.
- Support organizational improvement projects as assigned.
- Establish working relationships with social, educational, human services programs and have knowledge and understanding of other resources available to participants and their families. Practice emotional intelligence.
- Respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community, with a high level of professionalism.
- Build knowledge of all programs supported by Arrow Child & Family Ministries including an understanding of the culture, values, principles, and practices.
- Provide subject matter expertise and perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, Arrow policy, and COA/NCASES accreditation standards.
- Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.
- May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.
Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related human service field and at least 1 year of child welfare or human services experience. 2 years in quality assurance, training and/or risk management preferred. Knowledge of Maryland COMAR and/or Texas Minimum Standards. Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Suite including Excel, Word, Teams. Intermediate skills to write reports, presentations, and business correspondence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and advanced ability to allocate time effectively between workloads.
