Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a civilian Orthodontist at Fort Irwin, near Barstow, CA.  This contract position offers:

• Full-time opportunity, Monday through Friday
• 8 hour work day, 40 hour work week
• No nights, weekends, or holidays
• No malpractice insurance hassles 
• Working primarily with a healthy, active duty population to Examine, diagnose, and treat diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structure

 

Job Requirements:

The Dental Position will have the following requirements:

• Any active state dental license
• Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). Graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA)
• Possess a valid Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number in order to write prescriptions for controlled substances
• A certificate of training in orthodontics from an ADA accredited residency training program and be board eligible or board certified in orthodontics
• At least one (1) year on a full time basis in the practice of dentistry within the past 2 years
• Basic Life Support Certification
