Job Details
Inpatient orthopedic unit - 3 12's per week. Either days or nights
What you will be doing:
- **Patient Assessment:** Evaluate patients with musculoskeletal issues, including injuries, fractures, and post-surgical conditions.
- **Care Coordination:** Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- **Pain Management:** Administer pain medications and provide comfort measures for patients recovering from orthopedic procedures.
- **Patient Education:** Educate patients and families about rehabilitation, mobility aids, and post-operative care instructions.
- **Wound Care:** Monitor and care for surgical wounds, ensuring proper healing and identifying any signs of infection.
- **Rehabilitation Support:** Assist in coordinating and guiding rehabilitation efforts, including physical therapy exercises and mobility assistance.
Skills you need:
- RN license
- Inpatient experience highly preferred, but not required
