About the Job
- Coverage Needed:
- Oct 28 - ongoing
- 7 on / 7 off shifts
- 24 hour call coverage
- 7am - 7am
- may need to stay to finish surgeries and follow-up the next day until 1 or 3pm
- can leave when finished with surgeries and follow-ups
- Clinical Information:
- Orthopedic Surgery: Trauma
- Level 1 trauma center
- Rounding and consults
- Daily patient volume: 10
- Support staff: 1 LPN, 2 PAs
- EMR: eCW
- Not just pager call
- Some days will have PA Coverage either night, full day or no PA coverage on certain days
- PAs take first call
- Required:
- DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active
- Current Flu Vaccine
- Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19
- Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
- Active SC License
