Job Summary:We’re looking for an OSI Technician to join our PharmScript team within our Clinical Systems department. In this role, you’ll support the Clinical Systems department by ensuring that off-site inventory and its pharmacy processes are being fully leveraged to create seamless workflow for both our customer and internal users. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and is an effective communicator. They are always a team player, eager to jump in where needed and collaborate with others to support the goals of the pharmacy and needs of customers.
Responsibilities:- Perform daily practices involving OSI processes, including billing transactions, inventory reconciliation, medication replenishment, and discrepancy troubleshooting
- Be a subject matter expert Automated Dispensing Cabinets regarding reporting and the extraction of data
- Develop, improve, track, and report meaningful and actionable metrics for improving Off-Site Inventory processes
- Work with Clinical Systems Coordinators and Specialists in defining new, and refine existing, processes and procedure to maximize efficient and consistent execution with Off-Site Inventory practices
- Audit both external (customer) and internal (employee) usage of Off-Site Inventory, reporting on findings and areas of opportunity to Clinical Systems and Operation teams
- Able to multi-task and work with deadlines
- Work with different levels and departments of the organization to implement best practices
- Other duties assigned as necessary
- High school degree or GED is required
- 2-4 years of experience in a regulated industry
- Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
- Able to stand on feet for 8 hours
- Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor
- Good communication, investigation, and troubleshooting skills
- Familiar with narcotics filling, data entry, customer service, and Healthex procedure
- Familiar with 21 CFR, DEA compliance and regulations for narcotics
- Prior audit experience preferred
Valid Kansas and Missouri pharmacy technician license

- May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day
- The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

- May lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
