OSP Helper/ Laborer - TEKsystems

Description:

looking to hire 3-4 helper technicians to work in the Ardmore market. This person will be helping in the installation of OSP fiber, long haul, middle mile and FTTX fiber. This includes digging/ cleaning out ditches, laying fiber pipe, setting fiber huts/boxes, blowing and running fiber, spreading gravel, working equipment and machines and getting fiber from point a to b. This job will be outdoor, in the field and will be subjected to the environment and weather. Looking for people that want to start a career in the very lucrative fiber industry and work their way up. Looking for people that will show up on time and work 40+ hours a week. Most weeks they are getting OT, so have to be willing to work until the work is completed. Due to the nature of the work they are doing, there are times when they cant leave exposed ditches and have to work until the ditches are covered.

Must be willing to travel. This work is all over the state and country. Typically OSP teams travel where the work is. They may be in certain areas for months or years, just depends on the size of the build.
