Schwantes Transport, LLC is seeking a dependable and efficient CDL OTR truck driver. The ideal candidate must be organized detailed oriented, and comfortable working independently. A clean driving record and commercial driving experience is a plus! Pay is dependent on qualifications and is a percentage of the gross load. This is a bonus eligible position with weekly pay (every Friday) via direct deposit.

PAY - $60,000 - $70,000 plus per year

CDL Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Fully understand how to safely operate and drive your assigned vehicle.
• Drive vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) over 26,000 lbs.
• Pick-up and safely transport goods to the intended destination.
• Obtain appropriate signatures to confirm and complete deliveries.
• Confirm that the contents of each shipment load matches the manifest documentation.
• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip.
• Always ensure your vehicle is kept clean.
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
• Accurately track and report working hours.
• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in accordance to weather/road conditions.
• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations.
• Make safety a priority at all times.

CDL Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications:

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) required.
• 2+ years of proven experience in commercial truck driving preferred.
• Clean driving record with no moving violations.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
