Outbound Phone Sales Associate
The Better Business Bureau of Metropolitan New York (BBB) is hiring motivated outbound phone Sales Associates.
Beginning base salary for new hires is $16/hour. There is a generous commission structure; commissions are earned on completed sales only. There are benefits which are included as applicable. Base salary for the 35-hour work week is $29,120 ($16.00 hourly). No nights or weekends. Base plus commission can total $65-$70K at commission target (this total is not guaranteed salary). High earners have made $100K+ base plus commission.

Schedule: Monday to Friday. Days.
Supplemental pay types:
Bonus pay.
Commission pay.

Experienced with outbound cold calling.
Enthusiastic, ethical and works with integrity.
Organized, adaptable and flexible.
Self-motivated for high-level performance and not easily discouraged.
In office setting on Long Island. There is a possibility for the position to move into a hybrid role based on the needs of the office and performance.
In office: equipment supplied; Hybrid: must have reliable internet access at home, reliable computer, and dedicated, undisturbed safe space to work. All training will be onsite in the Long Island office.
Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus but not required)
Accountable to:
Meet monthly goals.
Follow up with assigned leads in timely and professional manner.
Develop own appropriate leads to add to those we provide.
Close initial sales process and hand off to other internal departments for balance of process Follow company procedures and all policies.
Build trusting relationships through our virtual selling environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales goals
Ability to quickly learn new computer systems and software.
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with leads and coworkers.
Cold calling experience is required.
Training is provided in person and ongoing as needed.
