Multiple Appointment Types - This announcement can be used to fill Flexible (Intermittent), Part-Time, and Full-Time positions.
These facilities include Outdoor Recreation, Birch Hill Ski & Snowboard Area, Hiking tours, ATV tours etc.
Duties:
- Instructs groups and individuals in a variety of outdoor recreation programs, such as but not limited to rafting, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, challenge course using a variety of teaching methods.
- Teaches children as well as adults.
- Incumbent is responsible for group management. The safety of the participants must always be the number one priority.
- Reports any problems to the Outdoor Recreation Manager or Recreation Specialist as soon as possible in order to maintain a high quality service to guests
Qualifications:
- Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits.
- Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified.
