A reputable behavioral health system in Penndel, PA is looking for a Outpatient Coordinator.
Position Type: HC-Full-Time/ Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 Hours Per Week
Location: Penndel, PA
Responsibilities:
• Participates in and leads treatment review meetings, staff development trainings, individual and group supervision of clinical staff, administrative and other meetings
• Participates, represents and prepares for external meetings
• Communicates changes, needs, issues, etc. to staff.
• Assists in coordinating service delivery including, but not limited to case distribution and monitoring, programmatic statistics and outcome reports, new staff orientation, chart reviews, and best practices.
• Participates in all required quality improvement activities, utilization management initiatives, and makes recommendations regarding service gaps and needed improvements.
• Assists in gathering needed information for payroll pertaining to staff and completes regular staff evaluations.
• Participates in incident management as assigned.
• Implements structure, processes, policies, and forms relative to services assigned.
• Assists in readying program(s) for audits, participation during audits, as well as following up on implementation of changes resulting from audits.
• Available for consultation to all staff in regards to clinical decisions, HIPAA, processes, regulations, policies, etc.
• Will be integral in hiring, disciplining, evaluating and other HR issues pertaining to staffing for programs assigned.
• Makes recommendations for continuous programmatic improvements.
• Pursues ongoing professional development, education and training to maintain/upgrade skills and sustain credentials.
• Assists in ensuring that staff are aware of trainings, and obtain necessary continuing education.
• Maintains effective interdepartmental relationships with other coordinators and agency staff.
• Maintains all required documentation as per regulatory, ethical, managed care and agency standards.
• This includes, but is not limited to clinical charting, insurance authorizations, fiscal documentation, utilization management reviews, and request for information by outside agencies for clinical and oversight purposes.
Requirements:
• Must have professional licensure or licensure pending : Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapy (LMFT)
• Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
