Our Physical Therapist role at Children’s Health in Cityville, Dallas, offers an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and skilled professional to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a supportive environment. Working four 10-hour days per week, this full-time position allows flexibility with options to work either Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday.
Position Summary:
The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and implementing personalized treatment plans for pediatric patients. This role includes collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of care in accordance with applicable laws, Children's Health policies, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Evaluations & Treatment: Conduct thorough physical therapy evaluations, re-evaluations, and implement treatment plans to support patient progress.
Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, patients, families, and other team members, contributing to effective discharge planning.
Documentation: Maintain clear, accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment adjustments.
Departmental Support: Manage unscheduled time to assist in other areas, prioritize patient scheduling, and support the department by attending meetings and participating in professional development.
Qualifications:
Experience: Preferred one year of experience as a Physical Therapist.
Education: A bachelor’s degree is required, with an advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Licenses & Certifications: Texas Physical Therapy license and current CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association are required upon hire.
