About the Job
Saint Alphonsus is a physician-led, 500+ provider multispecialty group with an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join a growing group in Boise, ID. Saint Alphonsus is a principal provider of evidence-based, interdisciplinary behavioral health services within the region.
Our outpatient practice offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment for most emotional and interpersonal problems for children, adolescents, and adults. Psychotherapeutic and psychopharmacologic interventions are provided via a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Support: Practice includes 1 Physician, 1 APP and 2 clinical psychologists, and a LCSW and recruitment of additional providers underway. This spacious, recently renovated clinic setting on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus is part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.
Schedule: Traditional M-F, no weekend, no call. No inpatient work.

Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree;
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program
Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) - or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
