Maximus currently has an Outreach Specialist Opportunity with the Maximus Montana Employment and Training Project. This Project will provide intake, assessment and development of an Employability/Service Plan (ESP) plus case management of participants along with job development, placement, & retention services. Our goal is to equip participants to be successful in the world of work by building their skills capacity, prioritizing employment, and supporting retention.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Develop and execute tactical plan in support of the client/project strategic plan, using digital media (including website integration,Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Hootsuite, Desk.com, and YouTube) to increase visibility and enhance image of client/project with consumers, businesses, key opinion leaders, and news media. - Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope & complexity. - Communicate on complex, sensitive issues, or draft such responses with supervisor or manager. - Analyze and identify populations/types of consumers using the different social media outlets to develop a target plan based upon socio-economic status. - Meet with other agencies hired by the client to ensure that client/project has cohesive brand messaging. - Plan and manage day-to-day online social media components that contribute to the overall communications mission. - Draft editorial calendar for client approval. - Serve as a team communications member to ensure that client/project remains the central source of information during client/project events through close monitoring. - Respond to consumer comments/questions posted to social media handles. - Determine if questions/complaints require internal escalation. - Evaluate consumer impact/branding using appropriate analytics tools to measure effectiveness. ? Minimum Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in related field. - 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required. - Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Previous Maximus experience preferred.
Bachelors Degree required; equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree.
This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.
This position requires residency in the state of Montana.
This position requires you to have reliable transportation to travel to other offices within the region.
This position is fully remote and will require a home office.

- Reliable high-speed internet service

Pay Transparency
Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.
