What We Need:

710 WOR, New York's heritage News Talk station, has an opening for an Outside Account Executive who is passionate about the News Talk platform. This individual should be educated on the news cycle and eager to work with New York talk influencers like Sean Hannity, Buck Sexton, Clay Travis, John Batchelor, and Jesse Kelly.

This Account Executive should have a history in aligning companies with highly engaged, loyal audiences and experience selling within news talk and/or podcasts as 710 WOR has high ROI and massive direct response rates. News/Talk is having a moment, and 710 WOR, the Voice of New York, is the destination for the right AE to set themselves up for success.

What You'll Do:

• Immerse yourself in learning iHeartMedia’s Broadcast + Digital Marketing Products (we are constantly innovating and growing!)

• Meet in person with clients in your market

• Identify and develop new business opportunities while maintaining a pipeline of sales prospects in Salesforce

• Foster and nurture relationships with the existing client base

• Identify new opportunities and develop persuasive proposals to meet each client/agency evolving needs

• Collaborate with internal partners to drive revenue and meet/exceed established sales targets

• Create effective marketing campaigns in line with the iHeartMedia brand and resources

• Deliver compelling sales presentations with confidence

• Maintain productive client communication to ensure client satisfaction

• Monitor competition to continually prospect new account leads

• Negotiate rates and ensures prompt payments

• Follow all station procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, submitting regular reports regarding sales, pipeline lists, forecasts, and competitive analysis

• Digital/Media Sales experience is a plus

• Salesforce experience is a plus

• Microsoft Office suite and social networking platforms skills

• You must be work authorized in the United States on a full time basis without the need for employer sponsorship.

Compensation:

Salary to be determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data. In addition to salary, this position is also eligible for commissions.
