What You'll Do as a Commercial Outside Sales Representative:

• New Customer Acquisition: Seek out new customer prospects, meet with key decision makers, and develop proposals that will attract and retain new customer accounts.
• Sales: Help customers make informed purchasing decisions based on knowledge of tire applications and specific needs, while utilizing effective strategies to continuously achieve established sales and profit goals.
• Customer Fleet Maintenance: Perform customer fleet inspections and prepare service recommendations. Sort and barcode tire casings using mobile devices and software in preparation for retread and repair.
• Order Fulfillment: Work with operations to schedule customer tire deliveries. It is also necessary at times to load and deliver smaller orders using your company-provided truck or trailer.
• Billing: Assist with timely customer billing by establishing price contracts, entering guidelines into the billing system, invoicing, or a combination thereof.
• Collections: Work with the Accounting department to communicate with customers whose credit accounts have become past due.
• Communication: Relay clear and precise customer requirements and concerns to other departments, including Accounting, Operations, Management, and outside vendors, to ensure that customers receive outstanding service.
• Education: Stay current on available products and services from a variety of vendors in an ever-changing market.

Your Qualifications:

• Must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
• Must have a valid driver's license; driving record must meet company's insurance requirements
• Position requires continuous standing, bending, lifting and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced customer service-oriented environment.
• Team-Player: Works well as a member of a group.
• Detail Oriented: Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done well.
• Computer Skills: Must be able to use desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and mobile phones. Must have a working knowledge of MS Windows, MS Outlook, and MS Office. Knowledge of MaddenCo point-of-sale is a plus, but training will be provided.
