About the Job
An OSP Project Manager (PM) is responsible for any and every OSP operational imperative within their designated geographical area. A PM is proficient in all areas of OSP.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Exerts strong influencing skills to impact choices on immediate and long-term directions.
- Understands and effectively uses established policies and procedures.
- Actively seeks ways to recruit, hire, retain and manage a diverse workforce.
- Undertakes continual adjustments with stakeholders in a persuasive manner, to keep the project on course, by use of positive win/win negotiation.
- Recognizes how corporate culture impacts the success of the project; knows how to use organization to achieve objectives.
- Provides leadership, vision and direction setting for both project team and Uniti Fiber.
- Uses knowledge of mission and core strategy as a basis to develop specific objectives and goals.
- Viewed as an expert, highly-sought-after resource, a key advisor to OSP team members.
- Establishes contacts, relationships and oversees/maintains all components involved with existing and proposed network.
- Promotes a diverse work environment through education, training, and professional development opportunities within the department.
- Creates an environment that encourages innovation and team work.
- Demonstrates responsibility and accountability; prioritizes own and team’s work.
- Anticipates consequences of actions, potential problems, or opportunities for change.

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field experience.
- 5-10 years business experience.
- Experience with relevant IT, project management, program management, and product management functions and processes.
- Preference for experience managing in matrix environments, program development, and organizing cross-functional teams.
- Preference for organizational skills, documentation, and strong interpersonal skills.

- Sitting, standing, and walking.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds several times a day.

- Ability to read effectively from a computer screen, sampling device and/or a paper copy.
Working Conditions:
- Ability to work multiple tasks in a stressful environment while maintaining a positive and pleasant manner with others.
- Ability to handle a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
