Sterling Engineering is a growing staffing and engineering services firm that specializes in placing top talent in the U.S and Ireland. We have been working with a growing manufacturer of electric heaters on bringing in a Outside Sales Rep to work with customers in the East Coast to bring in a new book of business.
*Salary is 100-120k, will be additional commission included
*Company is known for its stability and tenure
*Not A Managerial Role With Direct Reports
*Role will be split between remote and travel
Overview:
- Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with the internal sales and manufacturing teams to develop customized solutions for clients.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to prospective clients.
- Negotiate terms and close sales to achieve revenue targets.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Travel to customer locations within the assigned territory to conduct meetings and sales activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Business related field
- At least 5 years of experience in an outside sales/business development role for a manufacturing company (not food, or pharma, must be industrial)
- Experience with a product that deals in thermal components
- Ability to travel to customers in the East Coast
