About the Job
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and nurturing long-lasting business relationships to drive sales growth for our client. This role involves generating new business and maintaining existing relationships with key decision-makers such as Facility Directors, Chief Engineers, General Managers, VPs, and C-Suite executives. The ideal candidate will utilize a consultative sales approach to convert prospects into clients and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cultivate strong professional relationships with commercial decision-makers, centers of influence, and referral partners to expand a portfolio of commercial accounts.
- Manage and nurture existing client and partner relationships while creating new account relationships.
- Oversee the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to customer relationship formalization and ongoing customer experience management.
- Conduct effective, in-person consultative sales meetings.
- Plan and manage appointment schedules efficiently.
- Maintain exceptional internal and external communication and accurate sales documentation.
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customer experience.
- Meet or exceed monthly sales quotas and goals.
- Create and maintain sales activity reports.
- Analyze and implement business development opportunities and strategies.
- Identify and initiate contact with target customers and influencers, including facility executives, operations leaders, property management professionals, insurance agents, adjusters, plumbers, and realtors.
- Visit job sites and collaborate with project managers and operations colleagues to support customer experience excellence.
- Actively participate and network in industry-related trade organizations to promote company services.
- Make presentations to small groups.
- Strengthen relationships with new and existing customers.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a related industry.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Willingness to travel as required.
