**This Position is 100% remote but has a territory of Chicago, Milwaukee, and Southern Michigan, only applicants within this area will be considered for this role**
TEKsystems has an exciting new opportunity for an outside sales representative for an accounting software company. Please apply if you have prior experience in outside sales/lead generation and are looking for your next opportunity!
Description:
-Responsible for finding and qualifying new accountants and bookkeepers who are not yet customers and would benefit from the partner program
- Majority of the job is identifying and speaking to prospect companies to understand their business and position
-Generating/qualifying leads, having discovery calls, and bringing leads to an internal account manager.
-Responsible for organizing events for potential customers to identify opportunity (i.e. lunches, coffees, networking events, etc.)
-Advised to call on accounts prior to going to the office or doing customer drop ins to provide information
-Must be open to cold-stopping, cold-calling, and prospecting in downtown Chicago along with traveling to Milwaukee and Southern Michigan.
-There are no prior leads or call list in place for this role, this person is helping build a territory from the ground up.
100% Remote, travel (company car provided) to Chicago, Milwaukee, and Southern Michigan is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE
-4+ years of outside sales (SaaS or accounting software sales preferred but not required)
-Someone who has a lot of self-accountability and creativity around how to get in front of customers
-Someone who is not scared to pick the phone up or walk into a customer unannounced
-Someone who has the ability to deliver results in a high growth environment
-Coachable and flexible with constant change in the role (this person will help develop the strategy to succeed in this territory)
-Ability to create sales strategies and execute on them
