We are searching for a motivated Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team! The Outside Sales Representative will work on behalf of our award-winning client, which is one of the area’s leading providers of renewable energy solutions. The Outside Sales Representative will build relationships with potential customers to discover their needs by providing individualized customer service. The Outside Sales Representative will actively seek out and engage with both existing and new customer prospects directly.
The right person for this role is responsible, dependable, assertive, goal-driven, and has a desire for long-term personal and professional growth. To be successful, you must have the ability to negotiate and build relationships.
OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Present, promote, and provide existing and potential customers with renewable energy knowledge and solutions that will suit their needs
- Develop basic presentations, quotes, and proposals for individual customers as needed
- Generate sales by establishing, developing, and maintaining positive business and customer relationships
- Accelerate the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize customer satisfaction
- Analyze the territory’s potential, track sales, and status reports to achieve agreed upon sales targets
- Provide reports to management on customer needs, problems, and interests
- Evaluate all competitors’ activities including new product launches or price reductions
OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE REQUIREMENTS:
- 1-3 years work experience as a sales representative preferred
- Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, sales personnel, managers, and coworkers
- Above average work ethic, high energy and engaging attitude
- Highly motivated and target driven
- Excellent, interpersonal, selling, and negotiation skills
- Travel within a 20-mile radius to assigned territories
