Primary Responsibility:
Responsible for developing and executing sales plans, implementing and managing individual sales objectives, forecasting, creating alternate sales channels, and building the communications/support for a results-oriented and customer-focused sales organization.
Key Duties/Accountabilities:
In this position individual will perform the following:
- Respond to sales calls in a courteous and timely manner by initiating the proper customer activity.
- Process customer orders, advising on product application, availability, correct part, catalog or issue number, shipping charges, and price.
- Dispatch all paperwork to the proper departments for shipment, repair, or quotation.
- Review all new equipment requests for quotation and produce an estimate response.
- Track all quotations to ensure timely follow-up on customer inquiries.
- Acts as interface between the customer, production department, and sales group for all customer communications.
- Confer with personnel to ensure shipment of customer requested material and billing is complete.
- Initiate material and process non-conformance, when necessary.
- Maintain a professional attitude when representing the company during phone, or personal contact with customers, outside vendors, and/or service providers, etc.
- Provide support for any special projects as assigned by your manager. These special projects, at the determination of management, may or may not become part of your primary responsibilities.
- Observe all safety procedures and policies and use proper protective equipment (especially eye, ear protection and steel toe shoes/boots, gloves, etc.)
Measures of Success:
- Sales adequately meet or exceed budgetary goals.
- On-time completion of quote(s).
- Advancement into new markets or additional new customers.

- This position requires an individual experienced in the service industry. To be considered, a candidate must possess a high school diploma and five (5) years knowledge of industrial service or a bachelor’s degree in a related business field and two (2) years experience. Additionally, computer skills in Excel and Word and have excellent customer interface experience. The position demands an individual who is hard working, detail oriented, and thorough, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Preferred sales and/or production experience with the following:
- Repair of AC/DC industrial motors or rotating equipment
- New motor sales
- Drive systems
- Knowledge of motor maintenance and testing
