• Salary Range $50,000 - $60,000 base pay, based on experience

Alta Equipment Group is currently searching for a sales professional to manage the Syracuse, NY region. This position will entail many varied tasks, with the goal of expanding our Loading Dock & Door business through new customer acquisition. This position will require, self motivation, flexibility and an eagerness to learn about the many facets of our business. The proper candidate is one who takes pride in his or her work and would be excited about the opportunity to be in charge of growing and managing a sales territory. This position is both strategic and tactical. We are looking for this individual to be aggressive with regard to sales and committed to exceeding the customers expectations with regard to a materials handling vendor.

In reporting directly to the Division Manager he or she will be responsible for the growth of the assigned territory. Success will be based on total sales volume, referrals & new customer enrollments. As with any new position the exact mix of the above criteria will largely be defined by the individual in the position.

In addition to salary, commissions can be earned in the following areas:

• Dock & Door equipment sales
• Allied Equipment
• New Customer enrollment
• Operational Maintenance Contracts

• Education: BA or BS required, or equivalent experience
• Experience or familiarity with Equipment Sales
• Computer literate (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Well-Rounded - Wide range of interests and an exceptional work ethic
• Positive - Upbeat outlook on position and career
• Customer Focused - Mental agility to multi task in a fast paced environment
• Quick Thinking - Strategic thinking that delivers results
