About the Job
Leading commercial cleaning and janitorial company in Midtown, NYC is actively seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Outside Sales Representative. Hours are Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm. Salary depends on experience. Generous commission structure is available. Company offers health insurance, 401(k), bonuses, and PTO.
Responsibilities:
-Develop growth strategies, create promotions, and increase business within the account base
-Build rapport with customers, educate and sell services, overcome objections, and close the sale
-Have a tenacious approach to selling
-Seek out new accounts using internet searches, directories, and trade publications
-Make outbound calls to develop new business opportunities
-Providing clients quotes and having understanding of their services
-Going on client visits
-Track sales activity in CRM software
-Keep an organized call calendar for scheduled appointment calls
-Attend sales meetings, sales training, and product information sessions
-Support and fulfill marketing initiatives
-Follow all department and company policies
-Perform all other tasks as assigned by managementQualifications:
-3+ years of sales experience
-Field sales/sales experience in a service industry
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-Calendar and schedule management experience
-Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conductQualifications:
