About the Role
The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling Tendit services to new customers while supporting our existing customer portfolios and cross-selling additional services. Through direct business-to-business sales, the Account Representative consults with customers to understand their facility maintenance needs and provides solutions with superior customer service experience. This position is responsible for business growth and customer retention that meets the Company's target financial goals and customer retention goals.
What You Will Do:
- Manage customer relationships to retain existing customers, receive leads, and manage new customer hand-off from the Business Development Manager
- Generate new business within the existing customer base through upselling and cross-selling, manage renewals to meet or exceed financial targets, and maintain historical revenue.
- Collaborate and partner with other Tendit Account Representatives, Business Development Managers (BDMs), Operations Managers, Project Managers, and Estimators for targeted lead generation and marketing campaigns.
- May negotiate contracts and pricing with input from Division General Managers.
- Maintain sales profiles in CRM. Evaluate and prepare customer plans within CRM for each assigned account, including but not limited to reviewing customer profiles, providing value messaging to customers, coordinating with other Account Representatives and BDMs, and identifying critical steps needed to execute account plans.
- Serve as the liaison between customers and operations; provide customer support as required.
- Develop and maintain impactful relationships within the existing customer base while translating customer challenges into value propositions for each customer.
- Responsible for the ongoing growth of opportunity pipeline within accounts and implementing sound call planning to drive results while positioning Tendit Group as a trusted advisor.
- Accountable for delivering accurate weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting.
- Develops and manages a five-quarter rolling pipeline to meet or exceed assigned pipeline revenue targets.
- Assists with training of new Tendit team members.
- Maintain an awareness of market behavior and competitive trends to anticipate changing customer needs.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of Tendit's available services and resources to support the customer base best.
- Acts as a Tendit Group brand ambassador and upholds business ethics and integrity.
- May assist accounts receivable with collection calls when necessary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing is a plus.
- A minimum of four years experience in Account Management is preferred.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and prior CRM software required.
- Previous commercial property experience preferred.
- Experience in exterior services sales or operations is preferred.
- Must have a valid U.S. driver's license and acceptable MVR.
- Proficiency in English language, bilingual a plus.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Confidence in engaging customers or potential clients.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and follow through.
- Customer-focused, self-starter who collaborates well and brings process improvement and a results-oriented mindset.
- An understanding of the construction industry and the property management environment.
- The ability to read, review, and comprehend construction drawings and maps.
- Experience in service-based sales, property restoration, and construction would be a plus.

Compensation for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience, plus commission.
